Arrrghhh.....i'm going crazy here...everytime my mind is free my imagination goes wild and i'll start thinking abt romance btwn me and Kimura or btwn Eve and Sven (characters from Blackcat)...baka baka bakaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sianz....i really don't feel like geting down to work...dunno why but i'm always keeping the 'real' things to the last....i always like to 'tao2 bi4' from my problems (like my studies. And today's chem pract was like shit....titrated like 5 times for the 1st part!!!! Arrghhh.....i'm always so damn slow!!! CCA pts are like shit oso). I seek solace in my imagination cos it's the only place where i can haf absolute control. Scenes can change in a flash, characters can enter or exit whenever i want, things that are impossible in reality come to life in my mind...But in my heart i'm really disappointed that i keep sinking into the comfort of my imaginary utopia and choosing to stay there. Grrrr....
Deep inside me, i know that this path will lead to madness and tears but.....
\(^-^)/ Yay! Was really high ytd cos i bought a magazine (Poporo August 2004, if u wanna know) with great pics of Kimura Takuya in it!!!!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA~ He's voicing Howl in the new Miyazaki Hayao animation film called "Hauru no Ugoku Shiro" (Howl's Moving Castle). Howl is a magician who owns the castle that can move to different worlds. This film is based on a book of the same name and it's gonna be released in Japan in fall 2004.
Ok pple, case closed on Z liao ok....dun like him anymore....I think he n his gf look really nice together!
Bought the 50 First Dates OST some time back. The ost comprises 12 love songs that are all easy on the ears. My favourites include "Friday, I'm in Love" (cute/upbeat song), "Love Song", "Every Breath You Take" (nice!), "Drive"(kinda melancholic). The OST is not really worth it but Shuang Han u should still catch that show! (if for nothing else but Sean Astin aka Sam Gamgee in LOTR ^-^)
Juz finished watching Sleepy Hollow (courtesy of Tina). The plot was ok. When the truth was discovered, i was like, "So what?" (But maybe that's cos i'm confused abt the story) My favourite shots were when the Headless Horseman rode out from the Tree of the Dead (imagine dead leaves rustling & rushing about the horse's hooves. So cool!) and when Ichabod (Johnny Depp) looked down at Katrina (Christina Ricci) after the whole mystery was resolved. i love when pple look downwards!
The gadgets were suspiciously reminiscent of Edward Scissorhands though.....actually the whole movie had this 'Edward Scissorhands' feel to it....the props, the direction at certain parts (Tina: remember the scene where young Ichabod danced with his mother in this fantasically pretty garden, with snowflakes falling about them. )....It felt like an excuse to showcase those props all over again. =P
Johnny Depp's acting was good though! Btw Arts Central is screening a Johnny Depp interview next mon at 11pm. (Why do i get the feeling u are rolling ur eyes?!Roll lah...later they roll out of ur head out then u know!) Heh hehz....i changed my desktop wallpaper to a Johnny Depp pic...(Previously Kimura was on my desktop) Wait a sec...Johnny Depp really looks Sven here! (which is the reason why i liked Sven in the first place)
This pic has a very earthy tone, everything is in a shade of brown. Johnny Depp is seated at this antique-looking brown piano and he's in this white singlet that shows off his arm and the tattoos on it. His hair is pretty long and unruly and he's sporting a goatee. His head is rested on the piano and he's smoking a cigar and looking right at you thru the camera.
Gosh that pair of gou1 hun2 yan3!!!!!! Nvm that you haf a wife & 2 kids, I'm ready to leave with u any moment....
Ok...conclusion is that after this wkend, i shall steer clear of the Internet/manga/TV/going out/Imagining stuff...that is not to say i cannot have 'me' time but i think music is a better way to relax. Imagining stuff makes u....well, imagine stuff...and once i get an idea, i won't stop fantasizing until every bit of that idea has been explored...and this is known to paralyse my mind from any serious thought for inordinate amounts of time =P But i'm not going to stop watching movies (gd ones, at least) cos some movies can be pretty insightful (eg Supersize Me).
