Sian....i'm supposed to start reading my script for the new show but i don't feel like doing it. Read 160 pages of Pavillion of Women yesterday.

The author, Pearl S. Buck is damn perceptive. With her words, the intricacy of relationships between men and women became very clear. A couple who loved each other too much, a couple who loved each other none. She wrote of how love allowed the protagonist to free herself and transform a selfish person to a caring one. The protagonist was always seeking freedom from her duties as matriach of her household. But her lover (Sort of. She realised she loved him only after his death) taught her that to be free is to care for others. Then she wouldn't feel the need to be free from others.
