FG SUPER SLEEPOVER ~25 Sept '04 - 26 Sept '04~

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep....judging from my reaction, u can tell that it was a blast...12 hours of W-inds/Lead/JP/FG/AIUEO....12 hrs of unabashed drooling...haha...




Arrrgghhh....Wish i can bring Ryuichi home....Yeah....really wish i can touch Ryuichi...Staring at him on the tv screen & from mag photos is just not enuff. I tell you if i see him right now, i'll run to him and hug him tight. Hontou ni. That's how crazy i am...

Luckily i don't live in japan...if i do, i'll juz keep spending money on my idols & never wake up from this dream...Go for their concerts, buy their albums, attend their autograph sesions, support their studio appearances, etc....Forget abt work & studies and basically spend my days living & breathing idols....


Anyway, Mc & i arrived at Stella's hse at around 6pm on Sat & watched all the way until 7am.

Yes.

7am. Sunday morning.

We slept (actually Mc slept while i talked to Stella for another hour) & woke up at around noon. Then we had lunch & watched Arashi's "How's it going?" concert vcd (which i bot on sat b4 coming to Stella's hse). The concert was ok on the whole...i cried at the song Blue. It was a sweet/sad song...and the painful expression on Sho's face as he was playing the piano...wah~

Their costumes were still considered ok.....(for truly garish costumes, u should look at KK) except for that transparent plastic costume they must have dug up from the cellars of JE. They wore this costume around 4 yrs ago when they were ard 17- 18. But Sho's body has improved from then lah...haha...

I don't like the way Sho raps though...i tot u're supposed to look cool rite but he's like smiling & he's got this head-shaking thing going on (Bollywood?!). Talking abt rapping, here's my Rap Ranking (out of the artistes i like, duh)

Right now, i have a lot of fave songs but i have yet to find a singer to stick to. The closest i can think of is Domoto Tsuyoshi. Every time when i question why i like Kinki Kids, i just have to listen to Kinki Kids' (Tsuyoshi's voice especially) Setsunai Koi ni Kizuite (I notice a painful love), Mou Kimi Igai Aisenai (I can't love anyone else but you), Hakka Candy (Peppermint Candy) & Kono Mama Te wo Tsunaide (Let's just continue holding hands like this) & i'll get my answer.

I like Ryuichi, but i don't think i'll like W-inds cos Keita's voice juz doesn't do it for me. Ryuichi only raps lah, so sad. Recently, Ryuichi has singing parts in a few songs (yeah, like 2 songs) and his voice isn't that great either (kinda deep & rough - he needs strepsils). But it is a refreshing change from Keita's super high voice.

Although both KK & w-inds' songs are mostly abt love, I like KK's songs better cos Tsuyoshi has that uncanny ability to touch you when u hear him sing *meltz*

Whenever i'm feeling down or when i'm feeling doubtful of my abilities, (Hakka Candy's playing on my comp now! *sCreamz!*) I'll listen to Arashi cos they have quite a few encouraging songs like Asu ni Mukatte Hoerou (Face tomorrow & yell) & Kansha Kange Ame Arashi (Gratitude to the Storm). After listening to these songs, u'll be like "I can do it!" & feel ready to face whatever challenges that await you.


Shit....what am i doing? A's are coming but i'm like so so so stuck on J-pop.... I really can't extricate myself from the Ryuichi craze now...... help~~

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shit i'm so crazy over Stand Up!! now!!!!! Feel like buying it but i'm scared i won't watch it next time.....how how how how how????? It's quite sweet & funny...

It starts on a silly tone with the main characters Shohei (aka Sho chan), Kengo (aka Ken Ken), Koji (aka Ko kun) & Hayato (aka Utayan) being christened the Dote Boys (virgin boys) by a bunch of gangster girls in their school. A childhood friend, Chie, comes to their town for a visit.

Sho chan is a nerd who rarely asserts himself and is seen as a Mr Ok. He has a major crush on his English teacher but unknown to him, Chie nurses a crush for him. Ken Ken, although attached, is still a virgin cos his girlfriend is unwilling to do it with him until they enter university. Ko kun is the captain of the soccer team and has no lack of girls interested in him. However, he is unable to express himself properly in front of girls. Last but not least, Udayan, though not bad looking, he has a bad reputation of being desperately horny so his fate is sealed as a virgin.

And so the scene is set for the summer of their 17th year - one that is full of ups & downs as the 5 teens mature on their take on love & sex.


I feel that Ninomiya, Suzuki Anne & Narimiya acted well. Nino was very convincing as Sho chan, with his pants waist-high and everything. Suzuki Anne was a very convincing Chie as well. She was suitably unladylike during Chie's pre-makeover days. Narimiya livened up the show as the desperately horny Udayan....who's very hyper/exaggerated & childish & quite a loser...oh well...

I felt that this show very realistic. Like, the 4 guys don't always triumph. Actually, they're always quite loser lah. Their characters are also very believable, like, i can observe quite a few nerds, blatantly horny pple, pple who dunno how to express themselves in front of the opposite sex. Shit. These traits seem to describe me. Ok change topic: One thing that seems fake is.....honestly, this bunch of guys are too shuai to be losers lah!!

The show is also very telling abt how youths feel lost as they transit to become adults. Like, for all our wilfulness, we're just in the process of finding our direction in life & gaining experiences......so sometimes adults should juz let go of us. But sometimes, we just have to take things as they come and don't worry (abt getting laid) so much. As Ken Ken told Utayan & Ko kun, "Yukkuri otona ni narou. Just become an adult slowly."

Other lessons include "Do it with someone you love", "Perfect love is after doing it, u feel like wanting to protect the other party even more";"Only do it if u can make the person happy"; "If u wanna do it, must spare a tot for the girl & use protection to prevent her from getting pregnant", "A regular girl with a good heart can get guys too"...etc

Comments on technical stuff.....Arashi's "Kotoba Yori Taisetsu Na Mono" (the thing more important that words) is damn nice!!!!!! Also, Nari, Yamashita & Oguri Shun's clothes are damn shuai!!!! Esp Nari's - black netted singlet over a neon pink singlet; colourful, patterned pants; purple t-shirt (never tot i'll like purple on anyone); plastic baby doll earring; sleeveless white shirt with gazillion holes over a dark coloured sleeveless top, etc.

Lately, i'm starting to like W-inds more and more....Thx a lot Tina, for giving me the cd that ur fren burnt for you \(^_^)/ Let's see....i like New-Age Dream, Close to You & Because of You. Winding Road, Feel the Fate, Winter Story & Paradox are pretty catchy too. I especially like Ryuichi's echoing in Because of You!! haha.... Other W-inds favourites are Deny & Super Lover =D
