Watched damn a lot of movies the last 2 days. I watched Jet Li's "Huo Yuan Jia" yesterday, "I've been waiting so long" (c'est un film francais) and "April Snow" today.

Huo Yuan Jia is a definite must-watch! It made me feel proud to be a Chinese. Because of the power of Chinese gongfu. But i guess the film was a bit biased towards Chinese people. oh well.

"I've been waiting so long" and "April Snow" are very similar and different films. They both deal with extramarital affairs. The 2 leads have 10 year age gaps btwn them: IBWSL pairs a man with a woman 10 yrs his senior while bae yong jun is 10 yrs older than his female lead. In IBWSL, two ex-lovers meet again by chance when the woman returns to paris after having walked out on her lover 12 years ago. April snow brings the spouses of 2 pple who had an affair together and the grieving spouses actually get themselves into an affair.

But IBWSL was more boring for me than April Snow. With april snow, i could feel the pain of the characters while i was just waiting for action in IBWSL to go on (will the 2 leads decide to be together or what?).

Anyways, go watch Huo Yuan Jia!!!

Now i like Tsumabuki Satoshi!!!!!! heehee...he's very cute in 'Bizarre tales 2005'. He had this very cute hairstyle with a fringe that reached his eyes and his hair sits fufflily around his head. So cute!

Oh i also found a picture of Kashiwabara Takashi. Yappari he's the shuaiest japanese actor i've ever seen. Even if he doesn't act that well.

I cut my hair ytd. Shocked my classmates with how short my hair was. hee but i like my hairstyle!! I dun wanna hide behind long, flowy hair anymore!! Gimme short and spikyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 3 lessons of french this week. But i enjoy every minute of it. I'm liking french more and more. Now i understand more sentence structures and i'm getting the hang of how the pronounciation works. and the teacher is very witty. He was like, "Singaporean girls are like...ice kacang. Looks good, yeah, but a little cold lah. And when you dig deeper, all sorts of funny things come out." I laughed and laughed. The teacher is a frenchman who has lived in s'pore for 15 years.

I tink this week will pass quickly...Only 5 more days to cny..i dun care for cny but i am looking forward to the holidays~~

It was pretty lousy. You're much better off reading the book. The film was very preachy and having the japanese characters speaking in english was really weird. They spoke in cryptic sentences which sounded more odd and empty than truly meaningful. It made me feel like the film was the telling of an asian story through the eyes and the mind of an ang moh.

The story was very condensed and the characters weren't developed enough except for zhang zi yi's character. My gosh i got bored after the first half of the show. After that, my sis and i were yawning in the cinema and wondering when it would end. RAAA.

i've changed my song to miduyo!!!

i just watched DBSG's miduyo mtv. I feel so sad and lonely...i need a hug...i miss xiah...he's so cute at the age and he looked so sad in the mtv..if he hug me now we'll make a great poster for a korean weepie drama. haha.

i can't wait for friday to come! ahhh!!!!!!!

Yesterday, i conjured what i tot to be the perfect guy for me right now..in my mind, he is of small built, a bit on the thin side, no more than 1.7m in height. I see tanned arms and legs which are lean but toned. His face is heart-shaped, tapered at the chin, a square chin. He has short hair which he dyed blond and some of his hair sticks up at the back of his head cos he often forgets to comb it in the mornings. He wears a black-rimmed spectacles on his average-looking face which is covered in his usual cheeky expression. (I imagine him to go to ntu as well) He is clad in a white t-shirt and wears a khaki-green coloured berms and slippers. In his hands he carried a stack of white paper (notes?) and i know that he has serious plans for his future despite his cheeky/mischevious nature.

After thinking for a bit...i realise he kinda looks like my dad!! The small built kind of guy. Arrrghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But seriously, i actually dun feel so strongly for tall guys. Like, ok, so they are tall.....so what? i tink short guys are cute. (short = about 1.7m)

I'm starting to like Micky. His low, gruff voice is pretty nice too...And he can be crazy too. Hee.

I like Xiah's personality!!!! Very funny & cute!!! And his voice very high....he sounds very cute (like xiao didi when he laughs) But... i dun like his lips. They are relatively shapeless...like 2 sausages. Dunno leh...i like him, but cannot imagine kissing his lips..or his lips coming towards mine.....

Meanwhile, i tink U-know is very shuai! haha. I'm going to call him '大哥' from, now on cos he seems like the 大哥 of the band, always saying diplomatic things n answers during interviews. And his dancing ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everytime i see him dance i'll be like so psyched up by his dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently i watched a video clip which compiled different segments of diff performances of his part of the song 'whatever they say'. Wah he sang until very 深情 the part where he was just dragging out standard words found in boyband songs like "oh oh yeah yeah" but it was so damn nice...u feel like he's really giving his all to you, the audience...makes me really wanna believe his words..haha hoho. And in "Mid uh yo" too. Xiah sounded so sad :( ahhh!!!!!!!! *hugs xiah* "Everything's ok, baby~"

So now i'm obsessed with the song "Whatever They Say". I wish i get my hands on the original version cos the one in their first album (the version you're hearing now) is the acapella version. But then that means i have to buy the single or sth...

*Agrees with Jan* Yeah! Wallace & gromit was a fantastic piece of animation work~! I tot that the animation looked very natural, not jerky or fake at all (recalls in disgust fake-looking human in Final Fantasy), except for the first part where the policeman walking looked sorta stiff. But other than that, the animation was great throughout. The pacing of the show was tight and i didn't feel bored at all throughout the whole show. The voice actors did a good job as well. I like Gromit! He's a really smart dog, even though he doesn't talk at all. The humour was good as well...

I knew who the were-rabbit was when Gromit followed the were-rabbit's tracks into the house. Even though he followed the tracks into the basement. It couldn't be so simple to be Hunch.

And the rabbits were really cute! One of the makers of this animation, Nick Park said that the idea was to have a ridiculous plot by having a were-rabbit. I think that the ridiculous plot drew people's attention to the great animation cos you dun need a lot of brains to follow the story.

And the Madagascar special before the filmis really farnie too! I almost wished it was the one i was watching *oops*

Yesterday, i saw a pic of a guy who looks like Xiah on that friend's blog. My gosh. So cute, that guy!

I watched 'The Promise' today. I thought the story was quite interesting. Heck the reviewers!I tot the story was very imaginative. I like it that the director created another world with the clever use of camera and the choice of locations.

The standard of the animation was kinda lacking though. The later part of the story was a bit draggy but i tink overall it was a movie that was worth watching.

Jang Dong Gun is such a babe! (i'm sure mc will agree with me)






Now i have a thing for guys with high voices (Thanks to Xiah). And Korean movies (thanks to Jang Dong Gun). haha.

Ahhhhh Xiah looks very good in the 'Tonight' MV. I've been saying this since i first watched that MV but he looks the best out of the 5 DBSK members in that MV. Like, his clothes fitted him well and his hair and everything about his image suited his features to a T. Like, his spiky fringe made his eyes less tiny and his silver earrings added a touch of glam to his look. The white turtleneck and the jacket broadened his shoulders and the three-quarter sleeves accentuated his muscular forearms. His look was "balanced", as one of my professors would say ;P

And the way he sang!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! 8-0

The year i finally visited to Japan, the land of my wildest dreams (and more) after liking it for 4 years.

The year where every Kimshi member visited Japan, though not all together at the same time. (strange, now that i come to think of it)

I (finally) went to work. I hate working but i like to see my bank account grow.

The year i got into SADM.

I tried to be independent by staying at hostel but took like, one month before i could keep myself there.

I did cosplaying.

I started liking DBSK. And got interested in the Korean Language.

I'm still in the process of finding myself though.

I agree with this author, which is why i have decided to become more serious (when the need arises) this year. I feel that ever since that lame joke streak in me started, i haven't really lived. Haven't really put my heart out there and feel. I have been living with my senses but not my heart. Like, my mouth is moving but my heart is empty. I eat nice food and feel happy but only as long as the food is in my mouth. You know, happy in the senses but not in the mind.

When i was younger, i believe in pursuing my dreams. But now that i have grown up a little more, that belief has been shaken. By my experience in Mediacorp, where i actually saw the work put into a show off-camera. I dunno...it all seems so...i dunno, like the mystery and the magic is gone. It's not a dream anymore. It's a job. I really respect those filmmakers but.....i'm just damn lazy, i know. I'm working on it. Keep my mind focused on the end *focus* *focus*

For the last 2 years, i have been thinking of all those big questions like the meaning of life and why are we here on earth and all that. I've been so caught up in all these arguments that i missed out on living. If you find that there is no point in living, do you just stop living? As my sis said, it's pointless to ask those questions. As a character in the movie 'I heart huckabees' said, "[You just want to keep on thinking about these questions] cos anything else is too painful."

I just woke up when i heard that line. I finally understood why i felt so empty and not-happy (not unhappy but just not happy) inside for the past 2 years.

I shall start living.

I shall listen to my heart and do as it tells me to.

Be true to myself.

And live my life the way i want to.

Yay i quite like DBSK's 'Rising Sun' album. Actually i like all the songs except the fast ones ;P Max has a pretty nice voice actually. And Micky's voice is quite distinctive with its husky quality. Hero's voice is very gentle but powerful (just hear him roar and you know what i mean). Yunho's voice is very rough & gruff but it's good for rapping. But he doesn't sound good when he sings :( I like Xiah's singing!!!! Hahaha...cos he's always very ji1 dong4. His voice is quite high..sometimes his voice cracks at the high notes but that's what makes his singing distinctive and...well, cute. I read somewhere that he was supposed to debut with another band but his voice broke during puberty or something so he had to undergo voice training again. But anyway i'm glad he debuted with DBSK =D

Ahhh....as you can see i'm in a boyband craze right now....*smiling idiotically*
