Music at the mo': Ageha by w-inds (it's the song playing on my blog now =D)
Damn nice this song...Dunno why but i've been touched by this wave of sadness. I went to pass the t-shirt design for the Hokkaido trip to David, my logistics head, juz now. Walked past
his block. Jason's block. It gave me the chills, knowing how near we live to each other.
Japan Youth Exchange ~Hokkaido Special~ Orientation CampThe Orientation Camp/chalet was held last sat & sun. At first i tot Jason wasn't going cos i didn't see him around. Was kinda disappointed. But then he turned up! Hee. And he wore his sunglasses on his head, like he swept his hair up with it. Definitely different from the usual short/nerdy or spiky do of most Singaporean guys. Yet others would claim that his hair is style-less. (Juz long & messy) Harhar. Watever. Take ur pick. But his hair suits his crazy personality. He's very cute lah...said a lot of funny stuff.
1) We were deciding whether to make a trip to Hakodate while in Sapporo. When someone mentioned that another option was to get the hosts to bring us there, Jason showed us a way of getting our message across: by telling them 'Hakodate ga daisuki desu' (i love Hakodate a lot) complete with palms held together like in a prayer ala jap girls acting cute. ^-^
2) After the meeting (late at night), Jason said he gotta go. As our chalet was near Changi village, where the the 'ah guais' roam the streets soliciting their services, my sis asked him, "ni qu zao ah guai ah? (you going to find the transvestites?)"
Jason's ans was, "bu shi. Wo yao qu kai gong le. (no, i'm going to work)" <---hahahaha how funny is that??!!
3) He did this cute pointing thing at me. When my group had to decide who should record our homestay experience in the (BEAUTIFUL) book given by the trip recording (ANGELS) pple:my sis & jan. Not that i minded writing anywayz..Oh no, he pointed to me. Probably becoz i look bookish or sth. Shit. =(
4) Halfway through the discussion he left the room. When he came back, i noticed he was in another shirt. So i told him. "ni huan yi le. (you changed ur clothes)"
Then the woman beside me, Christina (affectionately known is Chris mama) said to me, "Eh? Ni yu you zhu yi? (Eh? How come u noticed?)"
I struggled to reply sth but then she asked Jason, "What's that pic on ur shirt." And i quickly said, "Rhinoceros...with goggles." <---i'm not kidding, this is really the pic on his shirt! Then jan commented that his shirt looked kinda girlish. Yeah, it did look like a woman's tee.
To which he explained, "This shirt was given by my girlfriend."
Oh-kay....So i was like, "fu you ai xin de shirt (a shirt full of love)" And he twitched his eyebrows. Hahaha!
5) He gave my sis, jan & me a lift in his car to the mrt station after the chalet. And while i was sitting in the backseat, i was tinking like, did jason & his gf ever
do it here..?? Ugh. Trash that tot.
Oh yeah he's in the Indian dance section of the performance - like me! (So is my sis and like 2 other girls lah) I was kinda shocked cos i tot he'll sign up for sth slack like those pple who control the music or sth...but he's in my group! Yay~~
Yeah. Anywayz i hope next time my boyfriend will be like jason. Funny, friendly, confident, crazy and nice. Haiz. For now...juz treat him as an older brother (kor kor) lor. Yeah.
My sis said i act weird around him. Like, i say absolutely the weirdest things and laugh to myself.
Like, juz b4 we left the chalet, when everyone was waiting to take a group photo, Jason asked me, "Nani o shiteiru no? (what are you doing now?)"
Since we were standing around, doing nothing, i told him exactly that. "Nani mo nai. (absolutely nothing)." After i said those words i was like, "*##$^%^*%^%$&*^%!!!!!" inside. Like, how to haf a conversation like that?!!
I can't help it! I'm always saying stuff that kills a conversation with my crushes. That's how i scare them off. Highly effective method, if i do say so myself.
ANYWAY - I crush this guy & u're telling me to act normal??!! At least i'm not hyperventilating in front of him or breaking out in cold sweat. But maybe it's cos jan & my sis are ard. PLEASE, Baofei, pls talk normally to him next time!!!
I found out that he lives pretty near me.
Thank goodness i haf my sis & jan with me. If not i'd have been really bored during the chalet. And scared. I like most pple...but some of them are like 'eeky'.
Arrgh i find that i'm not firm enough. And i can't talk in front of a crowd. Shit. I was pretty shitty as a game master. And during the t-shirt design discussion. Muz learn. Muz learn.
Work GrumblesThis week i'm working on wed & thurs. Wed i'm under this AP that i dun like and the hours are from 8am to 11.30pm!!!!! Can u believe that??!!!!! It's nuts, man!!!! Luckily thurs i'm working from 8.30pm onwards.
Independence DayWatched independence Day juz now. It's really good. The sci fi parts. A little on the human parts. I love the lines. They're really good. And the president was really convincing when he made that "fight for our right to live!" speech, unlike Mr Orlando Bloom in Kingdom of Heaven. Seriously, his motivational speech in that show was a laugh. Or a snooze.
Anyway, back to independence day. I like the script, it's very tightly-paced, no bullshit or boring bits. But there were some loopholes. Like, how did will smith figure out where to find his girlfriend??! Like, huh? He juz took off in that helicopter and found her?? huh??
The president looked like Michael Douglas but i found out he's another guy called Bill Pullman. Oops.
Don't phunk with my heartI like 'Don't phunk with my heart' by Black eyed peas. I like that indian-influnced "xxxx don't phunk with my heart". Haha very cute! And Fergie looks really hot in that red number!
