Wow...watched damn a lot of shows the past week. Finished Kimura Takuya's Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi. Then started on Inagaki Goro's M no Higeki. Ytd was Moonchild. Juz now i started on 'Fufu' (meaning husband & wife, nothing to do wif ming choo's surname). Seriously, watching tv is tiring business. Like, you have to get to know the characters all over again. Then when u're used to seeing them & having them in ur life, they disappear when the show ends.

Am in a state of worklessness, which does not equate to joblessness. Maybe cos i have so much time in my hands, i'm starting to tink abt the purpose of life. Wow...it's been a really long time since i've seriously tot of that. Heck i shud probably record these tots in my own diary. Which i shall.

Listening to HYDE & Gackt's song from Moonchild called 'Orenji no Taiyou' at Jan's blog. The song is kinda boring for me, except at the part where the 2 brilliant songers yelled into my ears: Gackt in the higher voice in my left ear and Hyde doing the bass in my right. Pei4 fu2 pei4 fu2!!!!! heh maybe i'll start getting interested in Hyde next. His voice i mean.

Damn the weather's so hot and humid. Anyways, i had fun with Samantha on fri...heh show u all the neoprints we took if i haf the chance. Haha i'm particularly proud of the card photo we took V(^-^) She lent me her Pride and Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi. So far, my sis and i have watched the first disc of Sora and i'm hooked! Wanna know what happens next. My sister's colleague lent her P.S. Genki desu (starring Domoto Koichi) & Oretachi no Ryou (starring Comicen in their teens O_O) . So we've got 4 dramas on our hands now...

I watched the re-run of Water Boys on tv. The way the actors fooled around in the singing part made me realise how much i missed school...Can meet your frens and fool around with them and stuff... Feel like i haven't fooled around enough in school yet. I resolve to use my last few years of school to make up for lost time!! hahaz...

Changed my blog song to Gackt's 'Last Song'. It's damn nice!!! Those pple who turn off your speakers when u view blogs (i know who you are...shuang han!) turn on ur speakers now!! I like the chorus...

Nowadays i'm spending my days at home...but i'm wasting my time too as a result...Feel so uninspired. Like, i'm starting to doubt my choice of venturing into the entertainment industry. Haiz. Told my mum abt it and she told me dun doubt it anymore.

Read half of 'Peacemaker' juz now. It's so cute!!!! The humour's so totally my style!!! And the drawing's really nice! I like Ichimura Tatsunosuke!! Cos (big surprise) he's shuai. Arrrghhh...it seems like every other character has a sad past. Quick!!! Tell me!!! I wanna know what happened!! Can't stand the suspense anymore!!!!

Back to work again on wed...Ugh

Finished Gokusen 2 ytd. I was very shocked to find out that Kamenashi can actually act!!!!!

He played Odagiri Ryu, a boy with a Police Superintendent dad. Since young, Ryu's been used to taking orders from his dad, so much so that he never shares his thoughts with his dad and never questions his dad's decisions.

He might have seemed 'stiff' to certain pple but i think that that's the requirement for his role. And i understand that Odagiri's character is not really him because Kame's like loud and wacky in real life. So that's really good acting...to portray a different character from oneself.

I loved his acting in episode 9, when he finally confronted his dad. Like, ohmygod.....Kame was actually trembling when Odagiri finally told his dad what he felt. His eyes turning red..the tears rolling down his face as he struggled to keep his composure...i could feel how hard Odagiri wanted to express his real feelings at last.

haiz. I felt that i saw myself in him... Finally a TV character that i can identify with & actually feel for.

Watched Kagen no Tsuki last night. I tot it was quite bad...the premise was good but i just tot that the film felt very light...flimsy...things - pieces - are missing in btwn....The acting was passable. My conclusion is that Hyde is no actor. Chiaki was not bad. Narimiya's expressions looked the same those in Stand up and Trick. I tot the 2 kids acted well.

My sis asked me how i would have improved the film but i haf no real answer...i suppose i would like to go into the details of the one week that the Adam and Sayaka/Mizuki spent together. (Rather than juz telling the audience through the dialoague. "we spent a week together!") But then again, this is not a 12-part drama so i dun tink can afford the time. And rmb, Hyde is no actor.

The Hyde mtv was hilarious. So was Narimiya when he looked thru the shelves for Evil Eye's album. "Evil Eye...Evil..Elvis, Elvis, Elvis, Elvis janai, Evil desu." Oh! And there was this funny part where Miura's dad spoke in English. "It's my pressure ....pleasure...to meet you." hahahaha!

Narimiya was using a Panasonic phone in the film(the X800 i tink). Tot of getting it but looks kinda ugly. I like Chiaki's phone in the movie. Didn't manage to see the brand but it looked like a Motorola phone. It was orange..looks so cute! Shall wait for it to come to S'pore. Haha..I spotted other brand adverts as well, such as the IBM keyboard that Miura used to check out Evil Eye.

The ending was sweet though. I was like, "Ahhhh!" when i saw the ring on Narimiya's finger. (Stella was 'screaming' beside me). Oh yeah, and there's a surprise bit after the credits so be sure to stay for it.

My sis received Gokusen 2 from the seller. Whew...finally...we were beginning to tink that the person cheated us of our $$. Hmmm.... after 6 episodes, i'll have to say i miss the original gang which had more mo4 qi4. I miss the class too cos that class was very cute. And Shin (Matsujun) too. Ok, there's Akanishi Jin & Kamenashi Kazuya to make up for him but i tink shin's character was very special cos he was smart & cool. Kame is juz cool...he's not really smart & all all that. And the theme song!!!! V6's 'Feel your Breeze' was the perfect theme for Gokusen! It really makes you feel like getting and running on the green fields with 3D!!!

Oh man!!!!!!!!!!!! I juz watched Dirty Dancing 2 and i loved it!! The dancing is damn nice!!!!!!! Arggghhh.........It was much MUCH better than Honey.....


Javier & Katey

I liked Javier (Diego Luna's character) in the show...He's damn cute!!! i love the first part where Katey first saw him dance on the streets. Though i tot his partner danced better than he did. (But hey, he's never been trained so let's cut him some slack, yeah?) The way he danced with his mouth half-opened..the confident look on his face..his dirty beige v-neck t-shirt..Whoa~ Feel like picking up Cuban dance!

Admittedly, there isn't much of a story...and the whole Cuban political revolution thing didn't really fly. But heck. As long as i can see Javier dancing, i'm happy.

Hmmm.....i tot Diego Luna resembled someone. i tink he kinda looks like Daniel Wu! His nose and his chin. I juz love shot of him looking downwards...damn NICEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the soundtrack is damn good!!!! RAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Another thing i liked about the show was the simple love story that it offered. Boy & girl meet, suan each other, like each other. It isn't very convoluted with gazillion 3rd parties & wat not (ok, maybe one irritating class-conscious ma), so it's very refreshing. You know..it's simple. I like simple. The chemistry btwn the 2 leads weas only ok. But i tink the guy was especially mesmerizing when he dances. *sticks scotch tape over my mouth to stop myself from gushing all over again*

I tot Romola Garai acted her part well as Katey. The whole discovering your body & ur sexuality and dealing with coming to a new environment. i could definitely identify with what she felt. Like, i looked into the screen and i could spot myself in her.

Which makes me wonder...when is my Javier going to appear and sweep me off my feet?? XD

YES!!! Juz found out that Kagen no Tsuki opens tml!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to watch it during the weekend wif my sis. Anyone interested?? It stars Hyde, Narimiya Hiroki & Kuriyama Chiaki...

The movie ticket price hike has made me more conscious of my movie-going. Shall only watch those movies i really like..the rest - DVD. So i won't be watching madagascar. And maybe i shan't watch Mr & Mrs Smith. It's an indulgence, really, to see 2 hot leads sizzling up the screen...heh heh...

I was damn pissed juz now! My AP changed the set off time but didn't tell me!! What the hell! And i went all the way to mediacorp at 7.30am, only to realise that my AP changed the set off time to 3.30pm. I was like -________- And i haf the hokkaido trip meeting today lah!!! Luckily Shu Ting suggested i ask my AP to let me off...and she did!

But i can't help but feel guilty now..... like, i'm supposed to work yet by some strange turn of events, i don't have work anymore. Oh well...later go the exchange programme meeting so i'm not exactly 'free' what...

Oh yeah, while on the subject of Nakashima Mika.. She's playing the title character in a new movie based on a manga called Nana. The manga revolves around the lives of members in a rock band. And guess what? Narimiya's acting in it too! As one of the guitarists. ^___________^

YAy!!!! Heard from my sis that she saw the trailer for Narimiya's movie at cine!!!! It's called 'Kagen no Tsuki' (Last Quarter) and it's based on the comic of the same title. It's a supernatural story so shud be quite cool...anyway, Narimiya's in it!!!



The sleepover was pretty fun...but i tink we met too late...we only had time for a movie then si hui and serene had to go home and the rest who stayed over were pretty much shagged...

Watched Divergence with my sis yesterday. Well...what can i say...Daniel Wu is shuai. The story was ok. Ekin Cheng's character was psycho. Aaron Kwok wasn't that irritating. Daniel Wu's bit in this movie was too short for my liking. The fight in the fish market was....gross. Daniel Wu rocks in this show. He's so shuai and zai as an assassin. Angelica Lee look so old with long hair. She's really quite chio.
