I'm waiting for the Germany vs Argentina match. I support Germany! Becos of Philip Lahm. hee. i think he's cute.

Finally settled the materials and amount that i need for the freshmen orientation camp. Feels good to get sth done for a change.

I've been watching Full House lately on vcd. Very funny!!!!!!!!!! i like it, hence the song on my blog now :) I wonder if Rain got any acting awards for his role cos he played it really convincingly! Or pehaps he's really that bratty in real life...

Go Germany!!!!!!

I am in a Lee Jun Ki and Gackt craze right now.

Lee Jun Ki clips

Making of the MV "Grace" (not his song, he starred in someone else's mv)

The theme song from his movie, "The King's Men": In-yeon (Fate) by Lee Seonhi
I'm waiting for the Brazil vs Japan World Cup match to start (The match is at 3am).

Time check: 1.53am.

Sleepy sleepy sleepy..... today i watched Kwon Sang Woo's "Almost Love" and Lee Joon Ki's "wang2 de4 nan2 ren2 (aka The King and the Clown)".

KSW's show...strictly for KSW fans only. It's slow-paced and the story is a bit over the top. And it gets draggy towards the end. The jokes were few and not really funny so i'd have to say this show is a NO-NO for non-KSW fans.

Lee Joon Ki, Lee Joon Ki. After watching the movie i sorta like him. For some reason i thought the image of him on his knees crawling towards the king was sexy. Lee Joon Ki....he's a phenomenon. I mean, how could straight girls find an effeminate guy sexy, right? I mean, the whole show is sexually charged.

C'mon, face it: pple who watched the movie wanted and expected to see the king doing it with the gay (what with the sex scenes in brokeback and a homosexual character in the story). But that didn't happen at all in the film. So all that anticipation just makes every scene of gong gil (lee joon ki's role) with the king so riveting.

Of course, the movie is not just abt the king and gong gil. There were funny parts that were ok-funny, scenes with the uncle who looked like a weather-beaten Sadako with his long hair, the skinny protitute-turned-concubine with big boobs and even an bigger wig, etc.

Sorry i'm babbling. Cos i've juz seen Babel. (Babel is one of the players on the Dutch football team. If u're not used to my humour by now - oh, never mind.) Anyway the show was ok. Not bad, but average. Despite being a big production. The setting, props, everything looked expensive, trust me. The characters were quite strong (wow i never thought i'd use this adjective since 4d classes ended 2 months ago) except for Gong gil. Strangely enough, the main draw of the show was the most two-dimensional. He's just "The Gay". Beyond that label, i couldn't see even a glimpse of a distinct character.

Lee Joon ki handled his role well. I can see the effort, but there's still room for improvement. I enjoyed watching him when he is in his role as the king's favourite concubine (the prostitute-turned-concubine concubine) as a street performer. He was pretty convincing and i could see the effort he put in. I dun tink in Singapore u can find a newcomer who can act like him in their first movie role.

But....

I fell sick ytd. Had a fever of 38 degrees. I'm feeling much better now.

I listened to my fave w-inds' songs (from their first 3 albums) recently and i remembered why i liked them in the first place. Their songs were so catchy and fun. Now their songs sound so mellow. i know they should change theiur song writers from time to time but their new songs are so boring!!!!

I've been watching world cup on cable and now i like Kaka (Brazil no 8) and Torres (Spain no 9) *Espana!!!* I hope one of the Asian teams get thru the next round. But right now South Korea has a better chance than Japan. (Japan needs to win Brazil to get through!)Go Korea~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MTV of my favourite Gackt's song - "Last Song". Enjoy.

I made an interesting discovery today. Tsuyoshi sounds like Mr Children!!

Take a look at this mv!

Kimi Ga Suki

I like the chorus of this song! Mirai by Mr Children

Now compare with Tsuyoshi's songs...

Machi by Domoto Tsuyoshi

Yasashisa wo mune ni daite 'Live'

I tot Mr Children is a bunch of 50-sth paedophilic ah peks but apparently they are only in their late 30s only...oops.

Tsuyoshi really followed their singing style or what?! Wow he must like them a lot. But he sunds too much like them, doesn't he?

Later going to Cafe Cartel for dinner. Yay. I'm rejoicing not for the food but for the chance to get out of the house.

I jogged for a miserable 9mins today b4 i felt tired and started walking. Next time must hit 20mins!

My Recent Dream

i was waiting at home for the freshmen camp meeting to start. for some reason, the meeting is held at my house. A guy arrives at my house and sits on the living room floor beside me. we both wait for other pple to arrive. i've never seen the guy b4 but he doesn't bother to introduce himself so i just assume he's one of those pple i haven't met yet.

After a long while, he says, "i guess it's just the two of us."

I nod, giving a tentative smile.

Suddenly, he lie down and rests his head on my lap. Just then, my sis came home and he got off my lap quickly. "I gotta go." He says. He left.

My sis asks, "Your boyfriend?"

"No! I don't even know who the guy was!" I reply angrily.

The next day, i received a a large envelope. In it were 3 envelopes, each containing a pair of tickets to various shows. (I remember they were for some weird events, but i don't remember exactly what they were.) On the main envelope, the sender had written in blue ballpoint ink: "I have loved you since the moment i first saw you." It was signed "Wolfgang". i was very touched. i was sure the tickets were from the guy from the previous day. I was about to choose one of the events to go with 'Wolfgang' when i woke up.

Darn.

Who the hell is Wolfgang? Ok, Mozart duh.

But who is Wolfgang?

In my dream, the guy looks like the hc guy i saw at the siA.
-Mes Confessions-

I wanna subcribe to starhub to watch world cup.

i haven't studied for my astro exam. It is 4 days away.

i dread the day when my astro exam is over. cos then i would have to plan out the games for my sch's freshmen orientation camp.

i don't like the idea of being part of the orientation camp now. of course, i didn't think i'd feel this way when i first signed up.

i'm not supportive of the local film scene. or art scene.

i don't think i'd do a film-related career. Before, in sec sch, i wanted so much to study film. But now that i am here...i'm not so sure that's what i want. Coming to this sch has exposed me to a lot of things i wouldn't have the chance to (like art) but...

Now i'm not so sure if i should take french again next sem. i have forgotten a lot of what i've learnt. And knowing myself, i probably won't revise so i'm afraid i can't catch up next sem.

I'm not looking for love now. It's good if it comes by but i won't go looking for it.

I want to learn bartending. Not how to make the drinks but how to throw the bottles around.

i'd wanted to be an actress when i was younger. So i can act opp tsuyoshi domoto, my fave member of kinki kids.

I also wanted to be a singer so that
a) i could appear on music station and get interviewed by tamori about 'my new single'. And saying that typical line that singers always do as they leave their seats to prepare for their peformance. "Hai, yorishiku onegaishima~~~su. *nods to camera* "Yoroshiku onegaishima~~~su." *nods somemore*

b) i could sing a duet with kk

i want to live in a temperate country. Just so i could wear winter fashion.

i get scared when my father and my sis quarrel cos they tend to shout. i don't think they know it but all their shouting has given me a permanent psychological fear against well, shouting.

i hate crowds. Esp noisy crowds. They remind me of my shouting family members at home.

i get scared when pple display their true emotions, be it shouting with anger or crying hysterically. because i don't usually face my own emotions in all honesty and i don't know how to deal with pple who do.

i hate meeting new pple because of the inevitable awkwardness that it entails.

i hate going to a new working environment. sometimes i get so nervous, i'll get stomach upset ie diarrhoea ie lao sai.

i hate planning stuff.

I like languages. Learning new foreign words gives me a high.

only recently, i realised that my mum loves me.

I wanna learn exotic dance and salsa and belly dancing and hip hop. basically any dance that i can shake my butt/hips cos i like to do that.

i don't do housework at home but i want to change that. (my mum asked me to mop the house once in 2 weeks and i didn't put up much of a resistance) i just don't want to feel so useless at home.

Seriously, sometimes housework is therapeutic eg folding clothes and washing dishes. Esp cooking. Seeing the food u prepared become edible, it's so fascinating it's like a miracle. Even the exhilaration u feel in itself is a miracle.

my memory is actually very bad. i can't remember things beyond one week or somewhere around there. i'd like blame it on this one incident when we were kids where my sis banged a hole puncher on my head.

My mum said she knew my sis bullied me when we were kids. But she didn't step to stop it in cos she wanted me to stand up for myself. i was aghast. i was angry. like, u knew my sis was hurting me and u could still pretend that you didn't know? i don't want to blame my mum but sometimes i think that my personality, and in fact my life, would have been different altogether had she stepped in. On retrospect, i can only wonder.

i don't want to be mad at my sis for what she had done. i know she is repentent. i mean, she has apologised and everything but the psychological impact will never disappear cos it has shaped my entire person to what it is today.

I dunno...Who should i blame? my sis? myself? my mum? In all probabilty, i don't wish to face up to the fact that i was to blame for succumbing to my fear. i was weak. i am weak. i'm a coward.

i've since moved on from those dark times but i can't help feeling i haven't completely shaken off those bad times yet. They are still there, haunting me at the back of my head.

Maybe my bad memory arised from my emotional detachment to life instead of any physical reason. Since young, my only protection against the bullying was to numb myself to the pain, both physical and psychological. I've learned the principle of ming2 zhe2 bao3 shen1 so well, i've protected myself so well, i've gone completely aloof on the world around me and the pple in it.

i was happy for a while in sec sch, surrounded by friends and idols, full of dreams for the future.

When i was younger, i dreamt of going to poor African countries to help out in aid activites.

i feel the obstacles btwn me and my ambitions have grown in direct proportion to my age.

As i grow in years, i feel that i see things for what they really are and illusions fade. i felt sad and lost for a while but, things are what they are, there's no good or bad to them. No use worrying too much abt them.

Still, i can't help feeling pessimistic abt the world.

Yes, that's what i feel towards the world right now.

However, i also feel that singaporean youths like myself are too free ie kong4 xian2 to have the time to feel depressed. Because if you are depressed, u must first fulfill the requirement of having too much time on your hands for your own good. Then u'll have the time to think so deeply abt things that they drive u nuts.

The bonding session was quite fun lah. Theme: cooking contest! We were split into groups and given some money. We had to buy our own ingredients and cook our own food.

The turnout was quite bad. But oh well. Small groups suit me fine. Anyway, now I know names of more pple in the sch...which is good.

After the bonding session, several of us had a 'truth or truth' session. A guy whom i thought i liked me didn't like me, which was a relieve (i'm not interested in him whatsoever). A guy whom i crush has someone that he likes, which is shit news. And it appears that he likes her a lot. Sian diaoz.

i'm crushed.

I'm sad.

Haiz. I'm just waiting to become frens with my crush. After all, that's what happened btwn me & wh. Because i crushed him, things were often awkward btwn us. But after working together in a project, our awkward relationship gradually lost the awkwardness. Now we can talk normally and crack jokes even.

Meanwhile, there's nothing to do except to wait and let things take their own course.
